Useful to optimize drug therapy and monitor patient adherence. The therapeutic range is based on serum pre-dose (trough) draw at steady-state concentration. Therapeutic and toxic ranges are not well established. Proposed Dose-Related Range: 2 - 10 ug/mL. Adverse effects may include peripheral edema, allergic reactions, dizziness and somnolence.
