Clinical Info

Olanzapine is an antipsychotic drug indicated for the treatment of depression and bipolar disorder. The therapeutic range is based on serum, predose (trough) draw collection at steady-state concentration. Adverse effects may include dizziness, akathisia, postural hypotension, delirium, somnolence, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, hyperglycemia, and agitation. Noroxycodone causes an analytical interference and impacts the quantitation of Olanzapine.
