Clinical Info

As with most serological assays, paired testing of acute and convalescent samples is preferred. This is especially important when the acute phase sample is taken within the six days following onset. In most patients, Dengue antibodies are detectable after the sixth day following the onset of symptoms. Crossreactivity with other Flaviviruses is known to occur. The extent and degree of crossreaction varies.
