Special Info
For optimal results, bone marrow specimens should be received in the performing lab within 24 hours of collection, and peripheral blood specimens should be received within 48 hours of collection. Specimens submitted outside of this range will be evaluated for quality using appropriate internal controls, and the results will be qualified appropriately. If sending samples outside of indicated stability, please transport refrigerated.
