Special Info
If Clostridium difficile culture is positive, then Clostridium difficile - Cytotoxin Cell assay will be added at an additional charge. Positive results will be reported as soon as they are detected. Multiple specimens (more than one in 24 hours), stool in PVA or formalin, or formed stools will be rejected. This test is New York DOH approved.
